This book, written by Katie Kerr, is about George, a child cancer patient, who embarks on wonderful journeys inspired by magical pillowcases. This book also offers children (and their parents and teachers) tips on how to help other children fighting cancer and other life changing illnesses. Katie Kerr lives and works in Philadelphia, Pa. Inspired by her brother, Ryan Kerr's, experience battling cancer, she wrote A Case for Adventures. Ryan experienced difficulty in returning to school and interacting with his peers while undergoing chemotherapy. It is her hope that by educating all children about life threatening illnesses, we can help others in similar situations and bring more smiles to everyone.
